The story
Grid Calculator PE started as a personal tool — a way to solve the tedious, error-prone math of building professional grid systems inside InDesign. After years of refinement it became the product it is today: the fastest and smartest way to create publication layouts in InDesign.
Every feature exists because a real designer ran into a real problem. Nothing is added for the sake of a feature list.
The philosophy
Good tools disappear. They don't demand your attention — they amplify your ability to do the thing you actually came to do. That is the standard every Designers Bookshop product is held to.
